About Zappercast
Zappercast is an alternative review of “visually stimulating” media.
The “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” meets “Ebert and Roeper” meets the Anti-Media. A humorous, but legitimate review of artist owned and submitted “visually stimulating” material.
Zappercast is a video pod show with hosted interview segments. Sometimes we take the form of a DVD Extra, other times we have fun with the format. Zappercast is in its first season with 12 planned shows dedicated to artists and producers that create visually stimulating works of art.

About the Hosts
Dave Kaufman and Nar Davis are two nice Jewish boys from Chicago. Growing up in the shadow of The Second City really left them with pale skin. These pasty white guys are more than qualified to chatter with artists about their creative endeavors, what the artists sold (or bought) on Ebay to make their dream project come true, and how the artists paid with blood and sweat in this project from their heart (or sometimes were paid for their blood when funding ran low.)
“I want to make this show interesting so I’m letting Kaufman write my quotes, that way when they end up really stupid and dumb, I can join the audience in laughing at him. We all know that big time stars don’t have time to make real quotes anyway, we’re to busy with counting our money in the vault. Did I just say that last part outloud?” Davis commented when asked about what he brought to the show.
“Remember in Ghostbusters how Winston joined the team late and still got all the glory? I want to make sure that doesn’t happen here,” chimed Kaufman when asked about why people will want to watch. “I don’t mind writing fake quotes for Davis that no one will read anyway, but there is no way I’m writing material for some johnny-come-lately, looking to get while the getting is good.”
Clearly this team chemistry is going to make for a first class show with a really weird title.
