Where is the next Zappercast?
All we can say is, “WOW!” No, not another World of Warcraft reference, but wow as in Sally Field, wow. “You like us, you really, really like us!”
“So where’s the next show?”, you smartly ask.
Once upon a time….we shot our first show in a beautiful studio, complete with all the essentials, like a camera, lights, and even breathable air. Then during the editing, something wonderful and crazy happened. Ok, wait, we aren’t telling this right.
Let’s back it up, Pulp Fiction style…Nar and I pitched this show to our Executive Producers, a dynamic duo who produce the super popular GeekBrief.tv. The pitch meeting went well and we were given secret access codes to the Geek Intelligence Agency HQ, the location where Geek Brief is shot. Then in one fell swoop the Agency backed up the truck and was gone. With it, went the Zappercast studio! Yikes.
Keep following the serpentine story thread; we now find ourselves with our Executive Producers squirrelled away in their new top secret location and our show looking for a new home base. But don’t worry, Nar’s mom got a new refrigerator and promised him the box for his “little video box show“.
So watch for show two, it’s coming hopefully with fireworks (hint, hint on the date!). We know you want that next show, and we want to deliver. Oh yeah, so what was the wonderful and crazy thing that happened, (Pulp Fiction-ing again), our Executive Producers moved because they quit their day job to bring us more GeekBrief more often. And I think we can all agree having our “fearless leader” leading, is a good thing. Go Cali!

Fireworks came and went, still no show, what gives?
Chris….
When we saw your question we joked about replying with, “Did you think we meant the 4th of July? We meant Bonfire night in Britain - , the 5th of November!” But then realized you took the time to write in, and we owe you an honest answer, so here it is:
Nar was out practicing his interview skills and decided to show off his microphone twirling skills. He clocked a pit bull named Vinnie in the head who started growling at him.
All of a sudden the owner yelled, “He broke free from the leash, ruuuun!” Nar took off like a shot, he hopped a fence, tore down a back alley and on his way over another fence caught his shoe on the top of the fence.
At that moment he realized the pit bull was not chasing him, being all sweaty he decided to go home and hop in the shower. Meanwhile, Dave was busy laughing it up at the park, still holding Vinnie firmly attached to the leash. As you might guess, Vinnie was not even ferocious.
So you are asking, “That’s your lame excuse for not having a show done?” Nope, our lame excuse is:
We are still building our studio. It is taking a wee bit longer than we hoped.
Thanks for your continued patience, once we get past this hurdle we hope to be rolling…
Dave
